Tasting Notes

This Argentine honey is known for its rich and fruity flavor that is a very delightful honey that is mimics the United States Clover honey. This honey has a highly reduced sugar content and very low levels of sucrose as well, making this honey a less sweet but with a soft and pleasant taste and a light color. It mostly comes from multiflora, alfalfa, clover, thistle, lotus, among other wild flowers.

With a similar flavor pallet as our local clover honey, this multi-floral Argentinian honey works really well with fresh creamy cheeses like ricotta, goat cheese, or feta. Blue cheeses are another good choice—the mellow sweetness of the honey cuts the saltiness really well.
